La banda Cold es una banda de música hard rock de Jacksonville, Florida, USA. Con el lanzamiento de su álbum autotitulado Cold en 1998, la banda rápidamente llegó a ser conocida por su letras y la singularidad de la voz del grupo
La banda inicialmente se formó en 1986 por Scooter Ward y Sam McCandless con el nombre de Grundig, con el bajista Jeremy Marshall y el guitarrista Matt Loughran. La banda, se formó inicialmente en Jacksonville, se trasladó a la ciudad de Atlanta esperando conseguir una oportunidad en la industria musical, como Matt Loughran abandonó la banda fue reemplazado por Sean Lay. Regresaron a Florida con Kelly Hayes y Sean Lay.
